Van der Pant Fine Art is a Dutch art dealership specialising in twentieth-century European painting and sculpture. The collection focuses on post-war movements such as Abstract Expressionism, École de Paris, Cobra, Fundamental painting, Matter painting and Modern Classical.
The company was founded in 2020 by Floris van der Pant, MA (1984), and has since been based in Haarlem. Our way of working is defined by acquiring artworks from distinguished private collections and leading auction houses. After thorough research, each artwork is professionally photographed for publication on the website. Our customers and followers are informed of new acquisitions via our newsletter. Further interest can be accommodated with a personal viewing by appointment. For collectors who are not nearby, we handle international art logistics worldwide.
Floris van der Pant studied Art History at the University of Amsterdam and at VU University Amsterdam. He graduated with a thesis on the oeuvre of his aunt, the distinguished sculptor Theresia van der Pant (1924–2013). She is best known for her animal sculptures and for the life-size equestrian statue of Queen Wilhelmina on the Rokin in Amsterdam.
For the monograph series of the Sculpture Institute of Museum Beelden aan Zee in Scheveningen, Floris van der Pant wrote about the life and sculptures of Theresia van der Pant and compiled the catalogue raisonné. The book was published to coincide with the solo exhibition at Museum Beelden aan Zee. It ran from 16 January through 3 May 2026.
